INVITATION FOR BIDS
TENDER FOR PROVISION OF VARIOUS GOODS AND SERVICES TO THE COMMISSION

The Christian Social Services Commission (CSSC) has set aside funds for its operations during the year 2010.  It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be applied to cover eligible payments under the contract for the supply of various goods and services to the Commission.

The Christian Social Services Commission now invites sealed bids with quotations in Tanzanian Shillings from reputable suppliers of office supplies and services as follows:

LOT 1:  PROVISION OF CLEANING SERVICES

1. Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from the office of the Administrative Officer at the address given below from 09.00 am to 04.00 pm Monday to Friday commencing from 16th November 2009 except public holidays.

2. All tenderers must pay Non-Refundable fee of Tshs. 50,000/= (Tanzanian Shillings Fifty Thousand Only) Payment should be made either by cash or by Bankers Cheque in the name of Christian Social Services Commission.  Photocopy of the receipt or Bankers Cheque must be attached to the tender documents.

3. Each tenderer is required to provide the following information:
(i) Firm’s track record
(ii) Past experience
(iii) CVs of key staff
(iv) Evidence of being legally authorized to provide the services being tendered for.

4. All bids must be delivered by hand and put in the Tender Box at the CSSC Conference Room so as to reach the Director of CSSC before the deadline for submission of bids. 
The Deadline for submission of bids is on 4th December 2009 at 12.30 noon hrs local time and thereafter will be opened in public at 2:00 pm in the CSSC Conference Room in the presence of bidders or their representatives who may wish to attend.

5. Telegraphic, Telex, Email and late received bids will not be accepted.

6. Bids not received and opened in public at the bid opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.

7. The CSSC Tender Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any tender.

8. Tender in plain SEALED envelopes and marked: “TENDER NO. 02 OF 2009 FOR PROVISION OF GOODS AND SERVICES FOR THE YEAR 2010” indicating number as shown above should be addressed to:
